OLC brings together a coalition of patriot groups that guard our constitutional rights by identifying areas of concern. When we work together, we can reach the whole state through communication and education. Find an affiliate group near you and get involved.
Mark your calendar for August 5, 2017.
Featured speakers are:
Loma Wharton, Liberators 2004
Steve Mclaughlin, Liberty Watch of Washington
Jack Adkins, FreedomWorks
Afternoon features a Panel discussion
Continuing the theme on jurisdictional land use:
OLC members voted to send a letter to President Trump encouraging him to work with the Freedom Caucus in crafting a health care bill.
In follow-up to Rally Around the Flag 2016, OLC is taking training workshops around the state to educate county and local officials on their jurisdiction authority under the U.S. Constitution. Training will be in preparation for counties to advance their own plan. Doyel Shamley will be available to help to implement changes.
(1) Admissions Act – what lands are ceded to the federal government, what can the federal government own, and why they must dispose of land within state boundaries.
(2) Oregon Statutes on Federal Lands – process for acquisition.
(3) Eisenhower Synopsis – history and development of legislative jurisdiction.
(4) Inventory Report on Jurisdictional Status of Federal Areas within the States – which real property is owned by the U.S. Government, types of jurisdiction, and a list of the Legislative Jurisdiction over Federal areas of the Real Property reported for each County in Oregon.
Ask about a presentation to your County Commissioners.
In response to organizations at odds with many of our affiliate organizations, and the Rural Organizing Project calling out individuals in their “Up-In-Arms” manifesto, OLC has formed a committee to educate people on the “Patriot Movement.”
The first document to be shared is “What is a ‘Patriot’?”
The committee will be putting out a statement of what we are and what we stand for in rebuttal to the Rural Organizing Project.
Rob Lovett gave a presentation at the Western Liberty Network Annual Conference in January, 2017.
